In July, the added value of chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing increased by 7.2% year-on-year

Recently, the National Bureau of Statistics released data showing that in July, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 5.7% year-on-year in real terms. Among them, the oil and natural gas extraction industry increased by 4.1% year-on-year, and the chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry increased by 7.2% year-on-year.

Chinese scientists have increased the energy density and battery life of lithium batteries by 2-3 times.

​Recently, Chinese researchers have broken through the energy density and performance bottlenecks of conventional lithium-ion batteries, developing soft-pack cells with an energy density exceeding 600 watt-hours/kg and module batteries with a 480 watt-hours/kg capacity. These performance indicators directly improve the energy density and battery life of existing lithium-ion batteries by 2-3 times.
